Michael Antrobus is a furniture, lighting and accessories designer based in Copenhagen. His materials led practice is driven by an active, experimental approach to design that distils findings and observations into refined, expressive objects. He has previously worked for British Sculptor Antony Gormley where he gained extensive experience assisting in the production of sculptural works that ranged from the human to the architectural in scale. He has been commissioned to create work for Phillips De Pury and Company, The Victoria and Albert Museum and the Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna. Most recently he has been working on various lighting, furniture and accessories projects for Tom Dixon, Design Research Studio and Royal Copenhagen.
